See which stories rose to the top this month.
As another month comes to a close, it’s time for our regularly scheduled article recap! These top article recaps are designed to break down the most popular articles each month to make it easier for the AskARoofer readers to keep up with all of the content on our site. This month, our readers were especially interested in the logistics behind a roofing project. In our fifth spot is an article by Jesse Sanchez all about the major stages of a roof replacement. For spots four and three, there was an article about the importance of timely maintenance and one about what to do in the case a commercial roof emergency. All of these articles give home and business owners valuable insights to make sure they are fully prepared going into a roofing project.
As for the top two articles, our readership went global with two articles about roofing in China! Both written by Emma Peterson, the second-place article discusses the long architectural history of roofing in China and how builders have “balanced performance, aesthetics and available materials from ancient dynasties to the present day.” The first-place article is an in-depth profile on the roof of 圣农博物馆 (the Sunner Museum) in the 福建 (Fújiàn) province. This roof not only provides the museum long-term protection, but also “creates a space that celebrates agriculture, ecology and the surrounding landscape.”
