What Are the Right Products to Choose for a Re-roof?

How to get the best of both worlds when choosing products for your roof? We asked the experts! 

It is easy to feel helpless as a homeowner when it comes to re-roofing your home. Roofing is a whole world unto itself, and it is likely you are learning as you go. Making informed choices for your roof can be tricky when you think about all you need to consider when reroofing your home.

Erin’s top piece of advice is to always be choosing performance materials, like IKO. Your roof is one of the most important parts of your home, so you need to choose quality before anything else.  

“Performance products definitely make all the difference. Let's say you go with a quality contractor, but that contractor uses low quality materials. You will not have the longevity you're looking for or the curb appeal,” says Erin. “When we install IKO products, we're not only giving homeowner's performance, but we're also giving them curb appeal and peace of mind.”

“If you're thinking about your roof, it's time for one, because there's obviously something that you don't like about it,” says Matt, explaining the importance of making the right roofing choices up front. “You don't want to get to those points so you have more damage and more money to be spent...
