It’s somehow the end of October, and this month we had a wide variety of articles that caught the attention of our readers. One stand-out piece celebrates a Coffee Shops Influencer, Brittany Wimbish, as she transitions into the role of owner of Fields Roof Service, Inc. This transfer marks the fourth generation of family leadership for the trusted Washington roofing company. “It’s an honor to continue my family’s legacy and build on the strong foundation that has carried this company for nearly 70 years,” Brittany shared.
Another article that garnered special interest came from leading building products distributor QXO, announcing the return of their TRI-BUILT® Top Dogs calendar contest. This calendar has become a fun annual tradition that invites QXO customers to showcase their loyal canine companions. Twelve deserving dogs will be selected, and their owners will receive a $1,000 donation to their favorite rescue organization!
Finally, in our top story of the month, Coffee Shops writer Emma Peterson shares research and wisdom on how to make the most of solar panel systems by incorporating plants. Biosolar roofs, which are the combination of solar panels and green roofing, create a symbiotic roofing system that not only promotes biodiversity and energy independence but also reduces urban heat.
