Joe,
I am unaware of any coating you can coat metal and heat-weld the membrane to it. You have a few options to do this if you want to use aluminum as your cover metal:
- Fabricate a cleat from TPO-coated metal with a raised edge that you can weld the membrane on, then snap the aluminum as a fascia piece.
- Use TPO cover tape to seal the edge flange into the TPO membrane.
- Purchase a prefabricated metal edge that integrates with a TPO system and aluminum edge metal.
