LP Building Solution’s WeatherLogic® Air & Water Barrier wall system protects your home from water and air infiltration.

The last thing any homeowner wants to deal with is water and air infiltration in their homes. When unnecessary water gets into your walls, it can lead to larger problems like the development of mold. And when unnecessary air gets into your home, it can cause an increase in energy costs. LP Building Solutions now offers their solution to keeping air and water out of your walls with their WeatherLogic® Air & Water Barrier wall system.

The WeatherLogic wall system is made of two materials: sheathing panels and seam and flashing tape. Together, the two give your home a solid structural defense against the elements.

The sheathing panels are comprised of the following components:

  • PS2-certified OSB substrate

  • Air and water resistive overlay

  • Moisture resistive resins

  • Waxes

  • Edge seal

All together, these components make this sheathing structural I rated, as they are free of grain defects, knots, splits and other imperfections. This means the panels provide buildings and homes with strength and structural stability.

The seam and flashing tape is another crucial part of completing the WeatherLogic system. The tape is made of AAMA 711-13 acrylic seam and flashing tape with a high-quality adhesive. When used with the sheathing panel, the tape creates a tight seal on all seams, keeping moisture out while allowing any moisture vapor in the walls to escape.

The WeatherLogic system comes with a 30-year limited warranty, one of the longest warranties in the industry. You do have to use the seam and flashing tape on the panels for the warranty to be valid.
