Valley
There are many ways to install valleys with the many options of roofing products out there. Here is a picture of a shake roof open valley. It is installed with 24 inch wide prepainted W valley metal. Call W vallet because of the W shape or design. The cedar shakes are cut to fit a weaved into the shake felt. This type of system when properly installed will provide protection to the roof deck from moisture intrusion.
