Modified Bitumen
For low sloped roofs we have used a modified bitumen product. It is a single ply system with very good durability. A base sheet is attached to the roof deck, then we apply the modified to the base sheet using a torch to melt the modified bitumen. All edges and lap are sealed the same way to insure a 1 piece water resistant system. Here Steve Jobe is patching in 20 curbs with a torch on John L Sullivan Chervolet mechanics shop as they install large swamp coolers.
